Current Efforts

  • RSO Food Donation Boxes: Students can find a food donation box at our basic needs center and most RSO's on campus where they can donate canned or dry goods, new hygiene products, etc. Want a box at your department, organization, or office? Email us at basicneeds@ucr.edu
  • Quarterly Events: Our team hosts quarterly events where we provide education on topics related to food recovery/food waste. We collaborate with partners in these efforts and always have food and prizes to raffle off!
  • ScottyEats: Our team contributes to ScottyEats events by offering direct event support and managing administrative and logistical tasks.
  • Individual Donations: When pantry is in need of assistance with any food donation pick ups, our team helps when available!
